Senior Director, Procurement Google

Aleck is a Senior Director within Google’s Procurement Organization and leads our Regional Procurement and Business Partnering functions. He joined Google one year ago and has a diverse global background spanning consulting and industry. His consulting experience includes being an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company (Chicago and Johannesburg), and before that he was at Ernst & Young (London). His industry experience includes being a Vice President in Procurement at Dell Technologies (Austin), he has also previously worked at Daimler Benz (Germany and Holland) and Electrolux (Sweden). His core functional expertise lies in supply chain operations and procurement. His personal interest lies in minority community programs and he has been recognized for these efforts through awards by HRH Prince Charles and as a Reach National Role model (UK). He also sits on community boards including the Metropolitan Family Services (Chicago). My passion lies in working with global companies to transform their supply chain and procurement operations utilizing innovative and creative strategies. To ensure success, I also focus on leveraging a number of complementary fields including corporate strategy, business partnership, change management and implementation.
