Jyothi Hartley looks after the sales and marketing external spend globally and is the point person for all categories for Europe for Smith and Nephew, a global leader in medical device manufacturing. The global team she is part of numbers 8 all of whom report into the Senior Director Indirect Procurement. Key challenges Jyothi will be focusing on in the next 12 months include increasing engagement in the business to involve indirect procurement earlier in the budget planning, improving spend visibility in Sales & Marketing in more countries and to get better links between strategic sourcing tools for example RFQs and transaction (PO) systems.
